The English Mastery™ programme taught at Adam Khoo Learning Centre focuses on reading and writing skills to help our students become acute and critical readers as well as better communicators of English. Despite emphasizing on reading and writing techniques, we also adopt an integrated and holistic approach in our lessons that includes honing listening and speaking skills too.

The English Mastery™ programme is namely made up of two specific modules;

1. Strategic Reading Module
2. Strategic Writing Module

Strategic Reading Module

Students become critical and competent readers who are aware of their reading styles. They acquire reading strategies and skills and learn to annotate their text. They are also able to identify the demands of the comprehension questions and then go on to answer the questions more competently. More importantly, they will develop a love for reading.

Strategic Writing Module

Students develop a critical eye for good writing and are taught various ways of introduction and conclusions. They will also learn to develop their vocabulary and own writing style.

The English Mastery™ programme will help your child to perceive English in a whole new light. He/she would even develop the love for the language! Mastering English will no longer be a struggle but a fun and enjoyable process.
