TAN CHUAN LAY

Chuan Lay was once a student who did not see the importance of education, however he managed to motivate himself and achieved excellent ‘O’ levels results with an improvement of 20 grades on his second attempt. Having gone through and overcame adversity, he wanted to to help others so that they do not have to go through what he went through and live with the one regret that he has. In year 2006
he started as a motivational coach before working his way up to being the program director and finally a trainer in the company. Chuan Lay has trained, supported and coached in Programs such as motivation, Leadership Skills, Study Skills, Life Skills, Communications Skills and Presentation Skills. Some of those schools that he has gone to are namely Anderson Junior College, Nan Yang Junior College, Tampines Junior College, Millenia Institute, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Catholic High School, Chung Cheng High School (Main), Bukit Panjang Government High School, Nan Chiau High School, Commonwealth Secondary School, Angelo Chinese School (Barker), St Hilda’s Secondary School, Rosyth School, Pasir Ris Primary School, Chong Zheng Primary School and more. He has been coaching both locally and regionally, thus giving him a wealth of experience and knowledge on working with students from numerous countries including but not limited to Singapore, Malaysia,
Indonesia, Philippines and Hong Kong. This allows him to better understand and help children from diverse background.

With a passion to help students to overcome their fear of Mathematics, he has also provided PSLE mathematics training to students in schools and from the general public. Some of the programmes he
has coached before are:
     – PSLE Seminar in collaboration with Warna 94.2fm and Oli 96.8fm
     – PSLE Congress in collaboration with 95.8fm
     – Trainer for P5 & P6 School Experiential Math Workshops in MOE Schools.

Chuan Lay has also conducted numerous classes of Success Coaching Programme, Training more than 700 students till date and he has met up 1 on 1 with all of their parents to find out more about his
students as well as to share with them how they can better support their child in their education.
