JERRALD LOKE
TRAINER
Jerrald is a charismatic and dynamic trainer who connects with the students with ease. He spends most of his time innovating his methods of interaction. Through these engagements with his participants, he imparts his knowledge to them and make an impact to their lives. Since the age of 18 in 2010, he has facilitated participants from primary school to tertiary level.
Jerrald believes that by planting seeds, it is a matter of time before harvesting the fruits. Every single seedling deserves the sunlight to grow and every plant has their own time to blossom. He always gives every participant his best to guide them towards their success. To him, it is all about nurturing his participants, helping them to build a better tomorrow.
With strong leadership background, Jerrald is able to inspire young leaders, setting them off to the path that is seemingly rocky but, at the same time, filled with thousands of footsteps of people who crossed that journey. His leadership journey started off in secondary school where he was selected to co-lead his team into the victory route of his sports team. Subsequently, he was selected as the President of Republic Polytechnic Hockey Interest Group.
As an environmentalist, Jerrald uses green metaphor during his trainings and shares his eco-friendly practices to the lives that he crossed path with. Especially in Outdoor Education, Jerrald models the way on how he manages his waste disposal methods and infuses environmental practices in outdoor education programmes wherever possible. Apart from character building, Jerrald dedicates his life to educate youths to build a promising future in not only the social aspects but also environmentally with eco frameworks.
Out of work, Jerrald spends most of his time playing sports and visiting nature reserves, exploring different places for a different kind of adventure. As an athlete, Jerrald plays hockey and floorball competitively. Over the years of hockey and floorball, he was called up for the national squad in 2019 where he flew the country flag high in the 8th edition of Men’s Indoor Hockey Asia Cup, organized by the Asian Hockey Federation in Chonburi, Thailand.
